Who is Gloss Angeles?

Gloss Angeles launched in the summer of 2019 after friends and fellow beauty journalists Kirbie Johnson and Sara Tan decided to put all of their DMs, emails and text messages out into the world as a podcast. They met in 2017 and have spent a majority of that time together ever since attending events, master classes, press trips, and over-the-top launch parties in the beauty industry, giving them plenty of stories and secrets to share.

Gloss Angeles is an “edu-tainment” podcast, combining their passion for beauty with their love of Los Angeles and celebrity culture. With over 1.5M downloads, the podcast continues to be one of Apple’s Top 10 Fashion & Beauty offerings. They recently signed a year-long licensing deal with Vice Media Group, bringing on Ulta Beauty as a long-term sponsor. They’ve been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Allure; Entertainment Tonight, CEW, WWD and more. Follow them on Instagram to see what they’re currently up to.

Former guest highlights include: Selena Gomez, Scarlett Johansson, Barbie Ferreira, Laverne Cox, Jonathan Van Ness, Lauren Conrad, Lana Condor; Dr. Dennis Gross, Charlotte Palermino, Mario Dedivanovic, Donni Davy, Jen Atkin, Emma Chamberlain, Marianna Hewitt, Brad Mondo, Lisa Eldridge, Sharon Chuter, Anastasia Soare, Dr. Jason Diamond, Hyram Yarbro, Michelle Phan, Manny Gutierrez, Kate Somerville and more.

She spends much of her time searching for the latest skincare, makeup, and style trends, interviewing celebrities and experts on their favorite products and routines, and reporting on the newest launches you should know about.

When Sara is not behind her laptop writing her stories, you can find her roaming around LA with her husband, French Bulldog, and new baby in search of the best hiking trails, foodie spots, and new music discoveries.
