Biden Beauty, Keys Soulcare, and How to Get Into the Beauty World
We have a lot to discuss on today’s episode! Joining Kirbie is Kristina Rodulfo, Beauty Director of Women’s Health. Kristina worked previously at Elle, having co-produced Webby-nominated documentary BEAT: How Drag Queens Shaped the Beauty Industry. She worked with Kirbie at POPSUGAR and has also appeared in InStyle, Harper’s BAZAAR, Into the Gloss, Stylecaster. Kristina notably started Donate Beauty with Kathleen Hou and Cheryl Wischover at the beginning of the pandemic.
You’ll get to know Kristina, how working for a magazine differs from a digital publication, and her advice for joining the beauty industry. Then we dive into Beauty News: Biden now has a beauty brand (sort of) and we finally have more intel on Alicia Keys’s new beauty line with e.l.f. Cosmetics.
When it comes to what’s on our face, Kristina is obsessing over a perfect tinted moisturizer while Kirbie has been religiously using these two brow products.
