Our first celebrity guest is the incomparable Laverne Cox.

She is an Emmy-nominated actress, Emmy-winning documentary film producer, SAG award winner, and an equal rights advocate and activist. You’ve seen her work in Orange Is The New Black, Doubt, The Mindy Project, Dear White People, most recently A Black Lady Sketch Show, and soon in JOLT with Kate Beckinsale.

She is the first openly transgender person to appear on the covers of TIME, Cosmopolitan, and Essence, to name a few, and has been the face of countless campaigns, including Beyonce’s IVY PARK line. Laverne is on our show today to chat about a new partnership with Band-Aid and (RED), and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on. She also explains why she never confirmed her age for so long and how to be a bad bitch.
